F/U to really nervous

So I just got back form getting the flu shot.  Thank You girls for all the kind words!!

I got a little lightheaded and dizzy.  I don't know if it was the shot or the fact that I was so nervous.  But, the bright side is It's done and that is one less thing I have to think about.

Hope everyone warned you about the killer sore arm you will be sporting for the next 24 hours.  I felt like a bunch of large men punched me in my left arm

I felt the same after mine but that was the only symptom besides a sore arem that I got.

Don't get too worked up. Especially if you start to not feel well later.  After I got my shot, I felt fine... Till about 8 at night.. Felt horriable. Mom told me to take two tylenol.. Cold sweats, and to be honest, I had to poop really bad. My sugar dropped really bad and hubby brought be some raisen's... After that I was sleepy.. but totally ok!

Really?  I didn't get a sore arm at all!

I had no problem, except the next morning my arm was REALLY sore, but that its. Worth a sore arm to not get the flu.

Hmmm, I guess I lucked out because my arm only felt slightly bruised.  I was still able to lay my head down on it in bed without discomfort.  I think the trick might be to make sure your arm is completely relaxed when they give you the shot.  Not to mention having an awesome nurse (or qualified professional) behind the syringe.
