*Warning, ?stupid? question ahead. I?ve heard different views on this topic. Is it safe? I?m debating on getting a pedicure today. This may sound like a stupid question, but I just want to make sure before I go. I?m leaning towards it being okay, but just want to know if anyone else has had one while pregnant? Thank you in advance

Yes, they say that foot massage can induce contractions so just be sure to tell them you are pregnant.

Yes you can get a pedicure.  I had one when I was pregnant with DS.  It was close to my due date and I was so glad that I went.  I'm planning on going again with this pregnancy too.

You're fine!  The reflexology points in the ankle that can stimulate labor only respond to sustained pressure (15+seconds at a time), so the nail tech briefly massaging over them shouldn't be an issue at all.  (fwiw, I'm a reflexologist).  Enjoy it!

WTE said there is a spot - if you rub it can cause contractions. I think it is between your ankle & heel. So tell them you are preg before they rub. But other than that not only are they ok but many women on bump recommend them for swollen feet

Not only is it safe... it feels wonderful!  got one a few weeks ago, and can't wait to get another!

I got one this morning and it was great!  My feet have been hurting and they fell pretty nice now.  I'll probably go around the holidays and then right around due date time.

what everyone else said just make sure the water isnt to hot when you soak your feet
