Not just you, I can't believe that October is over half way through.  After October is when it flies for me.  I just can't believe how fast this year has flown and I can't believe that it only gets faster as we grow older.  Kinda depressing to know soon we'll blink our eyes and our babies will be having babies...

Wow...69 days!!!??? I'm actually more excited this year, because money is going to be tight, and I'm excited to find all of the ways to make Christmas special for my kids and others without all the expectations of ALL THE PRESENTS.  We've learned from years passed, that even when we splurge, they don't care. Grateful yes, but shortlived. So, anyway. That's just me.

I was at the mall and one of the stores had a count down.  I literally stopped and walked back to double check I hadn't misread it.

Lucky for me, I'm done with holiday shopping for DD and almost done for the nieces and nephews (I have eight).  I think I'm gonna finish in a couple weeks when my mom comes down to visit.
