Registry question

Anyone registering for toys? My cousin told me to register for toys, but I'm not sure.

With DD we registered for everything including baby toys.

We did a few infant toys, like rattles and teethers, and also some bath toys, but that was it.

My registry is an aggregater and so I basically pointed people in the direction of the type of toys we want.

I figure registering for toys is perfect because some are a little less expensive and the baby will eventually need them.  Gives people more options to buy the baby something if they are on a budget.  We are going to also register for books.

We didn't, just becuase we want the absolute essentials first.  But did register for teethers, and the baby gym and stuff.

We registered for just a couple, partly because we found some we really liked and partly because they're a less expensive option for the registry. We also added books.

I was that the babies usually dont play with them much until they're about 6 months so i plan to register for just a few.  I  will buy more myself when theres a need for it.
