Re: DD

  • LOL!  This page made me worried!  I thought you were going to be pissed at my honest question!  Stick out tongue

I don't know what you're trying to say (really, I'm not being a smartarse).  Is the family catholic?  Are you just being asked to be a godparent and attend the baptism?

I need my DH.  He's fluent in Spanish, but I've got nothin'!  ;)

    lol...  Never that!

Yes Catholic. They want us to be god parents. I KNOW you dont say we will be "god parenting" a bay... lol

Your DH is fluent?? he took classes or was he raised speaking spanish??

Also can I say i always imagine you as asian because the lady in your avatar looks asian to me... lol

  • I am first generation American, but both parents are European, not Asian.  :)

DH studied Spanish in high school and in college.  When he graduated from college, he still wasn't confident speaking the language so he moved to Spain for awhile and now he is fluent.  ;)

(I don't know a blessed thing about god parenting)

I think youll forever be asian in my head...

Hmm.. i think Spain spanish is a little bit different then Mexican spanish... I think they are more formal.

  • Well, after living in Spain and moving back to the US, he got a job working with migrant workers (mostly Mexican) so now he is actually more "in tune" with the Mexican flava of Spanish.

(Make sure I'm as pretty as my avatar pic, too)
