Morning Everyone! Here is our check-in for everyone with a due date in April 2010. If you would like to be added please post your bump name ? real name ? age and your EDD (expected delivery date). If I missed you at the last check in please post again.

If anything has changed, like your EDD after the U/S please post an update with your original EDD so I can easily find you on the list

If you are listed in the due date needed list, please update your due date for me so that I can add you to the correct date.

Check-ins will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 9am EST.  Feel free to check-in any time that day.  Give us a general update on your progress and anything else you want to add!  We will have a question of the day as well.  There will also be a link to the check-in posted sometime after 3pm EST on M, W, and F. Also Fridays is bump photo day so even if you got a bump of bloat post it here with pride!

Good morning everyone!  Happy Friday!! 

 

QOTD: Plans for the weekend?  I don't really have one...I deperately need to do laundry so that will probably take up the majority of this evening and tomorrow.  Yuck...

As for registering, I haven't really thought about it...DH and I are tring to figure all this baby stuff out still.  lol...no we are working on daycares and stuff like that right now.

Happy Friday Due Drops!!!

I had my second appt yesterday, and got a bunch of good news.  While I didn't get another ultrasound, I did get to hear my baby's heartbeat again.  It was really strong, in the 160's.  My dr also told me that my ute is starting to get bigger and that I will be showing real baby soon.  I'll be over here permanetly (sp?) next week!!!!

My weekend will be null in void.  I'm taking a class that is free in order to get my full teaching certification.  So I'm doing that today from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm.  Tomorrow it's going to be from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.  But it's free...  That's what I keep telling myself.  But I do have something fun planned for tomorrow night.  I'm going the see Snow White the play!!!  LOVE fairy tails.  Sunday, I'm packing up my house.  We're moving on the 30th and have not even started to pack...

QOTD: This weekend I have work, my cousins baby shower, and my husband is taking his final test to be finished with court reporting school. As far as registering, we're going to wait until after we know if the baby's a boy or a girl.

QOTD: My mom is visiting this weekend!!! It's the first time I've seen her since we found out we are expecting, and I'm so excited   We are planning on doing some maternity clothes shopping, and picking up some things I've been meaning to get (baby bargains, pregnancy pillow, belly band, etc.). We are also going to look at baby furniture and stuff like strollers, car seats, etc. and talk about decorating ideas for the nursery.

We are most likely going to start registering in a couple of weeks. We will be seeing a lot of family for thanksgiving, but not Christmas, so I think people may give us our Christmas gifts early. I know the baby will get some stuff, so I'd like to start the registry just in case people want ideas or want some direction on what kind of stuff we like.  We are team green, so no wait to find out the gender!

Happy Friday, everyone!!

I am so glad that the work week is over for me. It's been a long week and I'll be happy to sleep in tomorrow! As for plans, tomorrow is the Notre Dame v. Southern Cal football game which DH and I will be watching while writing thank you notes from our wedding.

Registering for baby: Since we're still working on completing our wedding registry (we don't own our set of silverware yet or our bed set), registering for baby is going to wait. I'll probably do that in a month or so when we have moved and I'm no longer working full time.

Good Morning ladies!! I am so glad that the weekend is finally here! We do not have any big plans for the weekend.  We play poker pretty much every weekend so I know that we will do that at least once this weekend.  I have a lot of cleaning that really needs to be done.  We are moving to the upstairs part of our house and it is a disaster!  We have used it for storage, so I have alot to do to get that ready.

As far as the registry goes, we are waiting until we find out the sex.  I have already started looking and have some ideas.  I want to go neutral for everything but the bedding.  So I pretty much have most of it planned out.

QOTD: This weekend we have a 5 hour drive back to my hometown for a wedding. And on Monday we have our 2nd Dr. appointment first thing in the AM. So we are excited about that!

Happy Friday! I am having dinner tonight with some friends and tomorrow I will probably go do some shopping and Sunday cleaning. We will start registering after Thanksgiving once we the sex. That way if people would like to get us baby stuff for Christmas they can see what designs we have picked out.

The plan for the weekend is a whole lot of football - going to our city's high school game (DH and I are dorks!) and Saturday we're going to the U of Michigan game. :-) BIL/SIL's housewarming on Sunday and doing some shopping that day as well.

As far as registering, I am thinking of sometime in December or January. It will be hard to wait that long though after we find out the sex in November!

Hi ladies! here is my bump photo of the week!

the room behind me is going to be the nursery and I think we're moving my desk and taking down the futon this weekend so next week will be a different background! We're planning on keeping the purple walls (so hard to paint on and paint over!) but we're going to paint the top half a nice sage green when we find the right color! lol

Update: can't believe my big u/s is in a month (tomorrow) amazing how quickly this pregnancy is going! DH is dying to register but I think I will hold him off until at least Nov 1st. We're going to register early for Christmas since i know family will buy "cookie" gifts.

Morning!  We are going to the Gator game on Saturday (hasn't been a home game in a month) and can't wait.  We just announced our pregnancy, so I am sure we are going to get lots of congratualtions from family friends up in Gainesville.  Sunday will be a lazy day, thank goodness!

We are not going to register until we know the sex of the baby (around Thanksgiving).  We have already ordered our crib from JCP though (my mom and dad are buying it for us for Christmas).  I can't wait to see it up close!

Well, I seem to have caught some sort of cold...lots of coughing, some congestion (but not much), and chunky mucus.  Lovely.  Not sure what's going on there.
DH seems to have something wrong with his stomach too.
So....we'll probably not do much.  He wants to go fishing in the morning, but I think I'll pass.  We're supposed to hang out with friends, but they have an infant, and I don't want to pass whatever we have onto him.
Ugh.
No plans for registering yet.  Probably sometime in January.  We want to know the sex first. But good news...I got my big u/s scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving, so hopefully we can share the gender at the holiday!

I'm working all weekend long--Friday through Monday. And I work 3rd shift, so I'll be sleeping for most of my weekend But then I get 8 days off so I can't complain!

We won't be registering. This is baby #3, so we're on our own, just like with #2. If we have another boy, I won't need to buy much. If we have a girl, I will definitely have to have a budget or I will spend, spend, spend!

Had an OB appointment this past Wednesday. Didn't have u/s so EDD is still the same. Baby's heart rate was 153, so still going strong!

This weekend, I am going shopping with a girlfriend in Minden, LA (where she lives) just to get out of the house. Fiance has test next week, so he will have alone time to study. My friend says there are cute baby shops in Minden where I can get an idea of things. I will do my registry in January, just because I want to wait until after our wedding and after we move into a bigger house (so I can see how much room I have)

DH plays in a co-ed soccer league with some other friends of ours, so if the rain holds out I'll be at his game tonight cheering them all on.  We also have a friend coming to visit from NC, so she'll be on the sidelines with me if all goes according to plan. 

Otherwise, this weekend includes lots of laundry, hanging out and possibly some nursery painting (if I can persuade our friend to help me out while she's visiting).  We're also hitting up a hibachi restaurant on Saturday night b/c I've been craving Japanese food for a while now!

As for the registry, I've already started one online (with the bigger items that I could easily research and determine without seeing) and I was waiting until i was a little farther along to go throw the rest of the stuff on with the scanner at the store.  Now it's just a question of finding a time that's mutually agreeable for me and a friend (who I've asked to help me out since she just went through this last year).  We're Team Green, so not knowing the gender hasn't been an issue for us.  I'm more concerned about having too much stuff that I won't really use and/or not enough of what I really need.

 Update: Had NT scan wednseday and all of baby a's problems are magically gone! We couldnt be happier and cancled our CVS test.

I have a bachelorette party tonight, then we're cleaning all weekend so that we can put our condo on the market!

We started to get items on there, but we're using it more like a list of items to get reviews for.  We have 3 travel systems, 3 pack n' plays, 3 swings, etc.

Don't have any big plans this weekend, my brother's girlfriend is in town so we are going to a movie tonight.  Other then that I need to clean my house and we may go to my parents house to watch the Nebraska game. 

 We aren't going to register until after Christmas, I don't want any baby stuff for Christmas. I would rather get stuff of our wedding registry that we didn't get for our wedding.  Plus my friend that is throwing me a baby shower said that it will probably be in February which should give us plenty of time.

QOTD: No idea for this weekend. DH wants us to go fishing on Saturday morning...but I'm not sure I'm into that idea. Mainly because it will be about 35 degrees - too cold to be on a lake!

BR QOTD: When will we register...good question. First, I need to start researching this baby stuff. I need to first figure out what we will need - then I'll need to figure out what we won't need (but will inevitably receive anyway). 

I suppose a smart thing to do would be to register at least some stuff before Christmas, in case there are some family members that want to shop for the baby during the holiday.

QOTD: Weekend plans? No baby related plans this weekend. We went and looked at houses last night and found one we really like. Our realtor is doing some digging today and depending on what we find, we will be making an offer!!! We are trying to hold off on baby stuff till we move and know what the sex is. DH is playing in a golf tournament today so we probably wont do much tonight. Tomorrow is his company picnick. Sunday we are going to carve pumpkins and watch football.

 QOTD: DH and I are leaving tomorrow for our big trip to NY and Chicago to visit our families. I can't wait!

We started our Target registry online, but it'lll stay private until after our 20 week u/s. It's just a way for us to keep track of things we've seen and agreed on so far. Also, we had a coupon for a $20 gift card if we registered online before next week... Which reminds me, I'd better go get that today before we leave on our trip and miss the deadline!

Good Morning Ladies!!

Its FRIDAY! yeah! I am glad for the weekend since my DH and I have off together on Sunday- finally a day off together. We are going to set up Halloween decorations and go pumpkin picking out! since we dont really pick them... DH lost his house keys last night (arg... try and not get stressed about that... forget it... i thought i was having a cow not a baby-- hormones...) so we will have to deal with that i am sure.

Not sure when we plan to register- maybe around 20 weeks. Now, i am just taking a real laid back approach to things... going to call next week about the millions of classes my hospital offers and talk to HR about leave.

so, a busy next couple of days.

Yesterday was a wonderful and not so wonderful day. Had my OB appt. and heard the baby's heartbeat (wonderful) it was so loud this time! And scheduled my big u/s! It is a month from today! On my way home from work I hit a deer! (not so wonderful) Now I have to crawl in and out from my passenger side How embarrassing!

This weekend my little cousin is getting married, so I have that. And maybe a visit to Ohio to see my BF. We don't plan on registering till after we find out the sex.

QOTD:  We are hanging blinds in the new house this weekend.  Very exciting.  We have our NT scan next Wednesday (talk about down to the wire), so I'm looking forward to seeing proof that our blob has taken human form.

Nothing too exciting planned for this weekend.  DH will be out of town so I am going to clean out the guest bedroom (which will become the nursery) and catch up on some scrapbooking.  We will probably register towards the end of the year, maybe Christmas time?

No plans this weekend that I know of yet.  DH's parents gave me their Nikon Digital SLR camera to play around to see if I like it (because I've been thinking about getting into photography) so I think I'm going to finally sit down and do it!

Plans for the weekend are to have a "girls weekend".  My hubby is out of town for work and I am SOOO excited because my best girlfriends are coming over for a sleepover and we're going to drink mimosas (OJ only for me) and eat popcorn and watch chick flicks all weekend!

 As far as registering, I'll probably register in early December so that if anyone asks before christmas I can tell them where i'm registered.  My shower's not until February so it's a little early to register, but I know several family members will want to buy baby stuff for christmas.

My DH, DD, and I are headed to Denver tonight. DD is visiting the grandparents while DH, and I go to a comedy club with friends! Saturday we are headed to hang out with the Texas Ex's, and watch the BIG GAME......HOOK'EM HORNS! Then after that we are going clothes shopping, and then to the baby store to pick out little girl bedding. We are having a hard time with this since i despize pink!
