I'm still obsessing about finding jeans that fit--help!

Seriously, my thighs are so huge! I've lost about 10 more lbs (thank you flu! You are finally showing results!). My size 8 pants are falling off my waist and butt, but I can barely get them over my thighs. I need a 6, but I can't find any that my thighs will go in. I have noticed that I'm still retaining a lot of fluid--I still have cankles. I'm sick of showing the world my ass when I bend over, even with a belt. Should I just get them tailored to fit my waist? How does that look with jeans?

  • I get all my jeans tailored - it is so worth it.

  • Have you tried Gap Long and Leans? I've got hips and those are my favorite. If all else fails, tailor them like the pp said.

That was recommended, I tried them on, and thought it must have been a cruel joke. I think I had to size up to a 12 to get them over my legs. Seriously, they're like huge tree trunks.

  • are you willing to spend $$$? Joe's Jeans has a version that's good for curves but small waists. Red Engine is also good.

Yeah, anything for pants that fit. I haven't checked them out yet. I think I saw them at Macy's, though, so I'll go check it out.
