What a day ... (NBR vent)

I just need to vent for a minute. Here's the short version. I had to get up at 5 am drive 3+ hours today for a day full of meetings. On the way there, my car started freaking out and I hit some heavy traffic which made me nearly wet myself because I could not get to a rest stop.

The day of meetings was fine, but exhausting.

On the way home, my car continued to be a pain, beeping and little pictures showing up and then disappearing on the dashboard, while it rained heavily the whole way back. Actually, it didn't pour for one 30-minute segment where it snowed instead.

I couldn't wait to get home and relax, knowing DH was getting home before me and daydreaming that he'd have started dinner or cleaned the house. Instead I found him in the yard hosing things off because he got home late and one of the dogs messed in his crate! So I helped clean and now I am finally having plain rice for dinner because I feel gross.

Ugh. I am exhausted.

You poor thing! You just need to go to bed and start over tomorrow. I wish I could tell you to have a glass of wine, cause now's when you need it most. Sorry you had such a lousy day! xoxo
