Pulse in my uterus?

So we had a fire drill this morning and had to climb 9 flights of stairs UP when it was over (elevators were crazy packed!). As I sit down in my chair I feel my heart beating but then I feel what I think is a pulse in my abdomen. Anyone experience this or can explain this?

Yeah I think its your own pulse your feeling.

I think I have felt what you're talking about, but for me, it ended up being the pulse in my own hand.. it was too slow to be baby's

I can feel/see my pulse in my belly all the time.  I imagine if I were to go run up some stairs real fast it'd look like my heart was gonna jump out of my belly lol.  I think it's pretty normal to be able to feel it there, especially after some good cardio lol

I think it's just your pulse. The way things move around when your uterus is expanding make it more obvious but I believe it's the aorta artery that you're feeling. I had the same thing- could actually see the top of my stomach moving to the pulse and my chiropractor told me that's what it was. It happened while I was there, which is why I mentioned it.

Yep, I bet if you put your hand on your belly right now you'd be able to feel it too. I can. It is your pulse since the baby is getting pumped stuff to live in you.

Yes!  I have had this and can feel it if I just press hard.  I believe it has something to do with the fact that you have 40% more blood pumping through your veins than normal and it's all going to the baby.

It's your pulse. There is a lot more blood pumping down there right now. Several times when I've laid down after running around/doing a bunch of physical activity I have seen my belly move with my pulse.

you felt your abdominal aorta. its your own pulse. you have veins and arteries all over your body. i have felt my pulse in my abdomen area even before i was pg
