Do you have regular contractions? Are they painful?
I timed my contrax last night on contractionsmaster.com and they ranged from 5 min - 7 min 30 sec. But they were not painful - only mildly uncomfortable. I assume this is false labor. I would think the real contractions are super painful. WDYT?
Re: Real labor contractions v. false labor contractions
My mom told me that the only time she went into labor (with me) she started getting them around 9 am and spent the whole day thinking it was nothing. Around 5pm when my dad got home from work, and they hadn't stopped, they went to the hospital. This was also 19 days past her due date, so they knew it had to happen soon.
I'd say if they're still going, then you may want to call. I don't think they HAVE to be painful right off the bat like you see in the movies! Maybe this is it!!!
I don't think they have to be painful, but they should be very regular.
My doc said 4-1-1 (4 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute each, for 1 hour) before you go to the hospital, or if your water breaks.
