When is your Baby Shower?

Hi All!

I am due in March, and my sister-in-law is already talking about planning my shower!! When are you having (or did you have) your shower, and was it a good time?

Mine will be at 28 and 29 weeks, but that is purely because we are avoiding the holidays. For a March EDD, I'd say anytime between mid-Jan and anytime in Feb (depending on when you are due). I think typical is around 32-36 weeks.

I am due March 20th...And my shower/s will be in early January, before college starts back for the Spring semester, 'cause it's going to be best for my hostess/es and my guests.

My SIL is already planning too. I'm due March 11, but my SIL wants to have it when my brother and other SIL are in town for the holidays, they live out in CA, so she's doing it the 21st of December. It should work out even though it's a little close to the holidays because most of my friends are local, or have to work the week of Christmas, so they won't be leaving town yet. I'm just worried about that being such a hectic time for everyone, so I won't be offended if anyone doesn't come because they're just too busy.

The only family I have in TX is my parents and my husband's family, so it would be nice to have as much family as possible and that's at Christmas this year.

I'm due March 22.

I'm having 2 showers thrown for me. My sorority sisters are throwing me a "friend" one before semester break in December (since a lot of us are leaving after December graduation).

My mom/aunts are throwing me the "family shower" at the begining of Jan. while they're all still in ND for the holidays (they live all across the country).

It's all pretty early, but it's just what worked out.

I'm due on March 5th and my shower is on Nov. 29th. I'll only be a little over 26 weeks by then, but I have to fly about 1200 miles to get there and that's about the latest my family and I are comfortable with me flying. Plus that is the date that my hostess prefers. In an ideal world, I'd be living locally and have my shower in early January

Im due Feb 7th, and I am pretty sure my family is throwing mine in March (about a month after LO is born) I want to have the shower after the baby is born...
