Help! Poop problem...

Ok so we just changed Sara's diaper and long with the normal green stuff the were two specs of bright red and a little string of it. Should we be concerned or just watch the next one? I am worried about my girl.

    Hey!  We are dealing with this too.  She started having bright red specks in her stools at four weeks.  They were bad for one week, now doing better.  Her pedi has me on a Soy/Dairy/Casein/Whey FREE diet.  It seems to have helped.

    I called into the pedi right away.  She did have a little tear by her anus, but we checked out the stools at the lab.  It showed she had a high level of lactose in the stool which could be from hindmilk/foremilk imbalance AND/OR allergies/sensitivities.  So we are kind of working on both of those.  

    Good luck, I know it is hard to not worry to hard.
