Can someone school me real quick on lingerie?

Garter belts--- are they attached to special knee highs?  Or stockings?  Or wtf?

 

 

I'm perusing victorias secret website, and garter belts mystify me.   

 

(No, I'm not getting any.  I highly doubt they would be flatter on my chubby thighs)

I love thigh highs, prefer them actually. I don't like the way that pantyhose make me feel all 'pulled in'. I buy the kind that stay up on their own, but I guess if I wanted to look sexy I might invest in some nice garters

You don't wear lingerie?!!  Trust me when I tell you I have NO business wearing it (in that I am FAT as hell) but NOTHING makes you feel sexier than a good piece of lingerie.  I wear things that fit (properly) and it makes all the difference.

But light some candles, put on some lingerie --- I promise you --- you will feel great!!!

I have a garter but I've never worn it as I've never gone out to get the thigh highs for it.  Oh well!

I don't own any at all. I hardly doubt that my cotton underwear and 3 nursing bras that I own qualify as lingerie, LOL. 

I don't think that wearing it would make me feel great- I'd just be uncomfortable and wishing for my comfy cotton undies all the while pissed off that I just spent good money on something stupid. ;-)

Cleo --- it MUST fit right.  That is key.  Some of my lingerie is as comfy as cotton undies -- I promise. There is just something about putting it on that makes you feel sexy.  (Or at least it does for me!)

While I dont wear Lingerie often, per say, I do make sure that most days I have something "sexy" on for underwear. My bras and undies always match and as much as I love the comfort of cotton grannies, I dont wear them unless it is that time of the month.

It makes a big difference on how "sexy" I feel. Even if no one else sees it, it makes a difference to me.

I totally agree, Mel.   I love to wear sexy unders!   And, when it is that time of the month, I try to have sexy BLACK unders!
