Hey ladies!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday; we were flying back from the wedding in VA. Great times but a LONG weekend on my feet. I've never seen my ankles so large (I think there was a straight line down from my knees-awful!) I am taking today to recoup and try to see them again and fit back into my shoes :-)

How was everyone else's weekend? Did anyone have yesterday off? How is everyone feeling?

Yay!! I never get to catch the snowflakes check in!! Well, a quick update, i have an appt today, and my next one will be on 10/27- we are up to appt's every two weeks now!!

QOTD: we pretty much still need EVERYTHING!!! AUGH!!! No clue when we will get everything- most of it is on hold waiting for the house to be ready to move into....and I wonder why I feel so stressed out lol.

We are awaiting our bedding, which should be shipped hopefully today! We've already put the travel system together. We'll finish her room and continue to anxiously await Emmerson's arrival!

Good morning! 

QOTD:  We are waiting for the nursery furniture to be shipped to us- which is a little scary that it is still not here.  I also have some bedding stuff and changing table stuff that are left on the registry, but I have a shower next sunday so I don't want to buy all the registry stuff myself just yet.  I also need to decide on a baby monitor.  Oh, and we need to install the car seats, but I am waiting a couple more weeks before doing that.  So, it is slowly getting there!

Everything is going pretty good... my bp has been up a little, so I am hoping it is a fluke, but we will be watching it at home more.  I am going to call the doc if it keeps going up, or if it stays this high... I hate dealing with it.  I have also been having palpatations, so I have a heart monitor today, to see what is going on... hopefully it is nothing. 

QOTW: I have a ton to do!  Like order a crib... and everything!  I am so behind! haha!

We have an u/s on Friday to assess growth.  He's growing super fast so we might bump my due date up.

QOTD: What major things do you have left to do before the baby comes? When are you getting them done?

 You're kidding right?  We were ALMOST done with our addition when our pipe ruptured in our kitchen, so everything from our kitchen is now in the nursery which was ALMOST finished...and still is not finished...and we have no kitchen.  We will have the kitchen done in 2 weeks, then can finish the nursery-we're going to be very down to the wire!

Everything is going well here, can't believe we're down to less than 2 months!! I have my final u/s this Friday followed by regular OB appt. So wierd to have to go every 2 weeks now. My weekend was good, got a LOT done - washed and put away all of the baby stuff from the shower and got the nursery finished (just waiting on the rug to get here). Also got a prenatal massage and pedicure, which was a nice treat!

I feel like we're in pretty good shape with getting stuff done. We still have to do our will, get the carpets cleaned (mid-November), get our car seat bases installed, put things together like the pack n'play and swing and stuff, and finish buying the stuff we didn't get off our registry that we need. Oh and we need to get DH's stuff out of the nursery closet and move it to the guest room. But I don't feel like any of that will take too much time and we should get it all done by mid-November so we're ready anytime this little guy wants to show up I also have a couple of DVDs I want DH and I to watch before then - Happiest Baby on the Block and stuff like that.

the weekend was fun.  i went to an oktoberfest party at a friends house and saw a bunch of people i had not seen in awhile...there were 4 of us there that were pg but it was so weird being the most pg out of all of them.  sunday was a lazy day of laundry and grocery shopping and it took a lot out of me...seem to be getting tired much easier these days.

 

tomorrow i have my 32 week appt...i am going to ask the doctor about movement because i feel small kicks and rolls but nothing to big very often anyways like i used to.  i don't know why i am getting so nervous about this but nightmares had me in a complete panic last night.

QOTD: What major things do you have left to do before the baby comes? When are you getting them done?  So much to do before the baby arrives....we have to paint the room and closet, put up a new closet organizer, have our furniture arrive and get the bedding set up in the crib, buy all the little things like bottles, diapers, burp cloths etc.  The room will probably not come together until mid to late November whent he furniture arrives...I am going to be a stress case but hopefully I will have everything else bought by the beginning of november so that by Thanksgiving I will be good to go.  I have a never ending list!

I WISH I had yesterday off!  It would have been so nice to have a 3 day w/e : )

QOTD-his room is almost ready, we just need our mattress, and we need to decide what to put up on the walls.  We had our 28w appt yesterday and everything looks good.  I go back in 2w on the 28th!!!

We had a really nice weekend, but it was really busy as well. Had family photos Saturday morning and then spent all of Saturday afternoon at the State Fair so I was exhausted and so sore all over Saturday night. Sunday I worked most of the afternoon on design projects and such, but had hoped to work on some of the stuff I need to do for the nursery, it just never happened. I wish I had off yesterday, but I had to work and unfortunately, had the worst migraine ever all day long and I even woke up again with a headache today.

Other than that I am feeling pretty good, just starting to get sore and uncomfortable when I move around too much since the baby is getting so much bigger. My next OB appt. is next Tuesday, so I am looking forward to that and then starting my appts. every two weeks after next week. Hopefully, I'll get another sonogram soon so we can see our little guy!

As far as getting things done before the baby comes, we still have a lot to do and buy before then, but we did get our bedding, mobile and canvas wall decor delivered last week as well as all of the big boy furniture for our other son's room too. So, now we've got to finish moving his stuff out of the nursery, paint both rooms and start decorating both rooms. It will definitely end up being a lot to get done in the end because we have really busy weekends between now and my due date and of course, you have Thanksgiving in the middle of that as well. Hopefully, we'll get everything done though!
