Pregnant after a Loss

12 weeks and NT scan

I am 12 weeks today (woohoo!) and have my NT scan at 230 today.  Now I need to find something to occupy myself with until then.

On a bit of a side note, I read somewhere that some places will allow you to tape an ultrasound if you bring in a blank tape.  Has anyone done this?

Re: 12 weeks and NT scan

  • Happy 12 weeks Big Smile  My NT scan is not until next Tuesday I can hardly contain myself.  Good luck this afternoon!

     Sorry, no idea about taping.

  • If you bring a blank DVD to my place they will tape it for you! Thanks for reminding me! I need to go get a DVD.

    Good luck today!

  • GL today. I had never heard about the DVD thing. Hmmm, I'm going to call my OB's office right now.

  • Just called the perinatal center where the NT scan is being done and they dont allow itSad.  I guess I'll wait til the 20 week appointment.

  • GL today and have fun! :) No clue about the taping thing, but I'm sure my dr.'s office and/or hospital wouldn't allow it. The only opportunity I've seen for taping is at the 3d/4d u/s they offer at my OB's office, which is an additional $225- umm, no thanks!

  • My place didn't offer that.  In fact, we borrowed a camcorder and they wouldn't even let us use that.  I'd call ahead!

  • We brought in a blank DVD to our NT Scan and we will be bringing one in for our 18 week ultrasound too.  I would call your doctor's office and see if you can do the same.
