We received a high chair and a space saver seat at my shower, but I returned both because I wasn't sure I liked either that much. I thought something may catch my attention between then and now, but no such luck. It seems impossible to find one that looks like furniture that would actually go in my kitchen!
Which high chair do you have? Why do you like it?
Re: High Chairs
We have this one only the older model now. It matches our dining room furniture perfectly.

Love it!!!! Yeah, it's a little $$$ but so worth it!

We have the FP Space Saver chairs. They have been a lifesaver for me in feeding the twins since they recline to an "infant" setting. I've been using them for feedings since the boys were 8 weeks old and the chairs were sitting on the nursery floor!
The great thing about them is that I have taken them every time we've gone out of town on vacations. Also, if I need additional seating, I can just take them off and we're back to 6 adult chairs.
That being said, I'm not that picky about stuff that "goes" with my kitchen. I have a playroom (formally known as a "formal living room") that is right by the front door. People know we have kids so I don't really care if they see the high chairs or not!
We have this one:

I think it is pretty and the plastic tray snaps off for easy cleaning.
We have the Graco Blossom. LOVE it! It's not necessarily a blend-in piece, but it is awesome! It's a 4-in-1, so you have just about everything you need, even for two kids. We use it as a regular highchair, but it also snaps off the frame to use as a space saver seat that straps to a dining room chair, plus you still have the frame that has a youth seat. It comes with a separate booster seat, so you have the booster seat for an older child and you still have the entire highchair for a baby. The different views show the different ways you can use it.

Thanks! I think I have it narrowed down to these 2:

We kind of hated using a full-size highchair though with Hudson and I *think* we are going to just get a new FP Space Saver one that is the nicer one than what we have from when we got Hudson's. Just another thing we have not decided, but I know David mentioned that he didn't want to use the full-size Chicco one we have this time around.
It is a little modern, but I like that it doesn't look "baby" and can be used as a seat at the table until she's big enough to sit in the table chair. I thought I wanted the FP Space Saver - I got it actually and returned it, but then decided I didn't want a chair taken up by it. Hmmmmpf!
well, ours isn't modern looking and doesn't look fantastic with our furniture, but we LOVE it. We have the Chicco Polly. It has something like 5 to 7 height settings so he can sit with us at our pub table in the breakfast nook or lower at our dining room table (when he's not in his booster seat). It also folds in half like a travel system stroller and fits easily in the back of the car for when he was younger and we were visiting friends for dinner.
Anyway... just throwing that out there
i have this one too in bombay....actually i won it off the metro moms back in april. we havent used it yet, but it I really like it.
But, I think the anka one you shared looks more like your style
We originally had an old one that we bought from a friend of a friend. It was so bulky and took up a bunch of space. We ended up buying a super cheap on at Ikea and it's very simple and slim and works perfectly for us. No nooks and crannies to clean. Best of all, I think it was just $25 for the seat and the tray.
So far no safety issues - DD is 9 months this week and hasn't tried to free herself or get rowdy while eating yet.
i haven't used ours yet but I know it folds in half so I could stow it away in a closet/pantry if I wanted to. I'm 97% sure it's a Chicco.
I wish I could use a space saver but we have benches in the kitchen and fabric seats in the dining room.
