I wanted to thank everyone for their support and kind words over the past week with my crazy BFing supply issues. I decided that as much as I want to keep BFing, I do not want to continue to take medications to do it. After speaking with my mom and getting some advice from a LC, I decided to nurse in the mornings and evenings, and stop toruting myself with the in between day time feedings which was leaving both Madison and I in tears.
So yesterday and today I BF her in the mornining at 5,7 and 9, and then before she went to bed at 7pm. They were each great sessions and she was full and did not need a supplement after, which made me very happy. I plan to keep this schedule up until my supply completely craps out, but I will be happy knowing that we ended on a good note and both enjoyed those last sessions together instead of fighting to BF and pump all day long. I already feel way less stressed and have come to terms with all of this. I think I cried all of my tears this past week.
Thank you so much to everyone for all of their support and kind words. I apperciate it more than you will know.
