Britax Tether Installation

I know Hughes asked about this a while ago, but of course I can't find the post. Did you use the tether? Also I am confused about the 45 degree recline, does the seat always need to be at that angle, even when they can hold their head up and sit up on their own?

    Thanks for the overwhelming amount of tips! :) We installed it today with no issues using the tether. Still not sure if it is quite 45 degrees, but it looks to be.

    Just got back into town..

    We didn't install ours with the tether. Didn't see the need. That was my question a few weeks ago--what the point was. I think the consensus was that it was mainly for FF, or if you couldn't get it tight enough RF.. Ours was plenty secure without it, and I didn't want a big strap running down to the floorboard.

    We did the tether, it seemed to make it a ton tighter since we don't have latch.
