Pregnant after a Loss

I'm 99.9% positive

That Nick has turned!! My c-section hasn't been scheduled yet. I'm wondering if I should call my dr on Monday and see if she still wants to bother doing it? My belly is totally shaped different, and I'm feeling a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen...not painful, I can just tell he's shifted. Although I was really liking the idea of having his birth planned, I'm glad that nature is taking it's course.

  • CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!  That would be so exciting if you could avoid a c-section!  Congrats!!!

  • When's your c-section supposed to happen? If you have a regularly scheduled appointment before then I'd just mention it then. My doctor was completely unconcerned about her position until after 36 weeks - I'm assuming you've got some different circumstances going on though - good luck!

  • In my practice they schedule c-sections if baby hasn't turned by 32 weeks. What I haven't asked is what happens if they turn between 32 weeks and the big day...I'll find out. I know that my dr was going to do an u/s at my next regular appt (on the 21st) I just wasn't sure if I should call and maybe be seen sooner in order to halt the scheduling of the surgery. Hmm...decisions, decisions...part of me doesn't want to say anything in hopes that the CS will be scheduled before my appt and then she will not cancel it and I will know my baby's bday! Part of me is saying to just let baby and my body do their thing.

  • Wahoo!  I love it when they flip head down on their own!!  Congrats on hopefully avoiding the big C.

My DS flipped at 35 weeks after being breech for 3 months.  I could tell based on where the kicks were coming from.  They were on my bladder/cervix, but then one day I felt them under my ribs on the right side!  I was so happy!  That was exactly the position he was delivered in 2.5 weeks later!
