you should never count yourself short on that! It's a really hard job to SAH plus your DH works long assed hours so the vast majority of the child-caring is your responsibility.

Thank you M!  FWIW, I'm in tears...mostly because I'm mad as hell...shaking mad.  But also because I guess I needed to bounce it off some unbiased folks who don't know the history (and there's a deep ugly history here), and the consensus is that THEY are in the wrong here.  It's so crazy how a certain small handful of people can skew my views on what is right and wrong with regards to how you treat people and what you put up with.  They've worn me down!  I get that my job as a parent/wife/you name it, is hard as helll, but how do I prove my worth to people who want to take, take, take from us?  It's a slippery slope to say the least!
