1st...From me (and especially Dh). Thank you all so very much for your T&P yesterday and over the last few weeks. I can't even put into words how much these boards have helped, but you all already know.
We should have been having our 1st u/s but turns out it wasn't really that necessary. My betas as of yesterday are 63 and I'm 100% sure that I passed almost everything last night (I'll spare you the details unless you want to pm me). I go back in 2wks with another beta the day before to make sure everything is ok and then we wait until I've had 2 full cycles and we'll start clomid again and then Prometrium the day I get a + hpt. This will put us ttc again around the new year. I'm doing suprisingly well but mostly because my nerves are shot. We just can't believe we're back at the beginning all over again.
But I did finally talk to my mom last night about our 1st m/c and then this one. It's a relief to finally have it off my chest. I think the nurse kicked in instead of the shrink in her (thankfully). We're still not sure whether or not to tell his mom...she's a bit highstrung and freaks out easily.
Our ob was glad I called everytime the spotting changed and got bw everytime so we can better document what's going on. We didn't catch the progesterone in time but now we know why this is happen. And turns out I'm O+, never knew that...I thought I was O-(neat). He did give us the option of either staying with him or going to an RE. I'm going to research the RE near us but I trust our OB completely and plan on staying with him. We know the problem and how to fix it.
Sorry this is so long. But thanks again for the support.
Re: xp: from ttcal: update on doc appt this morning
I'm so sorry that you had to go through this, best of luck when you are ready to try again.
FWIW we went through the OB versus RE debate right before I got this BFP (after 3 losses, we were confident we'd need more medical help). I had my OB run the bloodwork for cd 3 and 7dpo the cycle I got my BFP. The OB then put me on 300 mg prometrium a day until 14 weeks, Lovenox after 8 weeks and baby aspirin the whole time. So far so good, so it can have a happy ending! Definitely make sure they run your clotting factor bloodwork to make sure that's not the reason for the losses, I know that can cause many early losses.
I am so sorry you are having to go through this again. I'm glad your OB has a plan and that he is taking such good care of you. ((BIG HUGS))
I'm truly sorry that you are going through all of this again. Best wishes as you approach the newyear. You will be in my thoughts as you go through this.
