Second appointment went great!

I went to my second appointment yesterday, which was my 13 week appointment I guess...I got to meet the midwife that will be delivering my baby. She was SOOO nice...and super helpful.  I feel really good about choosing this midwife! She found the baby's heartbeat right away without even moving the doppler around! It was much clearer and louder than the last visit. She was suprised that at my last appointment I could hear the heartbeat because I was only at 8 weeks. She felt my uterus and she said that it felt bigger than 13 weeks. She thinks I might be further along than I think, so I get to go in for an ultrasound next week to measure the baby!!!! My next appointment is on 11/5/09! Everything looks good and sounds good. I am in my second trimester and still have a baby!  Yay! I am so estatic!! I outed myself on facebook and now I can be open about being pregnant without worry! Yay for having a sticky baby!

that is great news! I am glad everything is going well. Welcome to the 2nd trimester, where the first few weeks are hell on SALers, but then we get to start feeling kicks and are all better.
