13 mo old with red raised bumps

*i posted this on 12-24 as well*last night when getting DS ready for bed i noticed a red raised bump on his upper left forearm. i told DH about it & said that we needed to check on it. (background...our best friends have two girls that both over the last year have been dealing with staph infections on their skin that start as red raised bump) today around 3ish i noticed that he had some red raised spots around his mouth - thinking that it is just ache. but tonight i was giving him a bath & noticed that he had another on his left forearm & one on his thumb. after we got him out of the tub i found 8-10 more scattered across his body. hes not in daycare. nothing has changed, diet, detergent, cleaners, nothing.has anyone had this, or have any ideas as to what it is.

How big are they? I really don't know.. my dd had a rash/bites on her forehead awhile ago.. that is still pretty unexplained.. but it was only on her forehead and they were small..

I might go have the dr take a look at it since it could be any number of things.

I'd definitely ask the pedi, but could it be hand-foot-mouth?  DD had a rash that followed several days of fever & the pedi said it was roseola.  Nothing to be concerned about, very common.  Her rash was all over her belly & back though.  Hope it's nothing serious!

I don't have any ideas as to what tehy might be - but I would say to get into see the dr. It could be nothing, but I always feel it is better to be sure!
