Full term today but a little spooked by dr visit

So i am 37 weeks today but at my dr appointment this morning they said I am "flirting with high blood pressure" and that I should stay home and off my feet until delivery.  I was kind of surprised because i 've had normal BP the entire pregnancy but I'll do as I'm told.

I have another appt on Monday and if my BP is still up the dr said he will make the decision when to induce.  I'm excited and nervous at the same time - I mean I am ready to meet my LO but nervous about induction too.

Say some prayers for me if you will   Thanks girls!

Wow, that must have been quite a surprise for you!  Are you currently working?  GL, maybe you'll get to meet your LO sooner than you thought!

Congrats on full term!  This has happened to several of my friends, most of them have stayed off their feet and their bp has lowered, just take it easy!!!!  Good luck and keep us posted!

T&P for you! And don't be too worried if you need to be induced- I ended up on pitocin after my water broke and the contractions stopped and it really was not bad what so ever. Take it easy and best wishes!

Thanks for the well wished ladies.  I'm just resting and working from home.  I'll definitely keep you all posted when I know more on whats going on.
