Thank you for posting this!!! It seems like one of the least biased articles that I've read. I know I have to get it anyway, but this makes me feel better about it .

Thanks for posting, Speed! I thought it was interesting that they pointed out that the regular flu shot does not go through clinical trials every year, so in comparison the testing in clinical trials that is going on for the H1N1 vaccine is very rigorous. I was undecided on whether to get the H1N1 vaccine if I can get my hands on it (I normally get a regular flu shot every year), but this definitely sways me more towards getting it.

That WAS really interesting, dukegirl! I posted a link to an NPR segment a few weeks ago where they interviewed the CDC guy who was quoted in this article, which was a lot of the same info. It allayed a lot of my fears and definitely swayed my opinion toward getting the vax.
This was a great article, thanks for posting Speed.

And I also love NPR, for the record
I didn't remember that article being as concise because I distinctly remember still being uneasy after reading. Perhaps I didn't read it carefully enough. Ah well, It wouldn't be the first time I didn't read something carefully enough. Whatever the case - the information is still pertinent, and if anyone missed it when McJaimie posted it, well, here it is again. But Jamie can have credit.

No, no Speed, YOU deserve the credit. I didn't mean I posted the same thing - what I linked to (or meant to) was an audio interview of the CDC guy.
Maybe we're just both awesome at posting helpful information?
