Yes, I have drank them or any other brand of high protein liquid nutrition drink (Ensure Plus, Carnation, etc.). I was told last week at my 34 wk appt. to add in 2-3 of these drinks a day since there a # of studies (accord. to my peri) that say they can cross the placenta more easily thus giving the babies the added nutrients/ protein they need.
One of my twins is measuring smaller and it's very imp. that she gains some weight in my remainder of this pg, so that is why I am drinking them. I will do whatever it takes to make her catch up to her sister!!
I've also drank them earlier in the pg (not consistently or as many as I am now) when I wasn't feeling I was gaining enough (I started out underweight for this pg). So it's a great, easy way to add extra nutrition without getting too uncomfortably full.
I drink either Carnation Instant Breakfast in 2% milk or Ensure Plus everyday. Its helped me to meet all of my weight gain goals so far and provides extra calcium and protein that MOMs need.
I drink the WalMart brand of boost once a day usually. Unless I think I can hit the 2,500 calorie mark without it (which I never do). My MFM said he was okay with meeting part of my calories this way. I have a hard time even eating 2,000 calories a day.

I do the same. Also I sometimes add some yogurt and a banana (or other fresh fruit and make it a smoothie! Yum.
Its a quick and easy way to sneak in some extra calories between meals.

GL and HTH
I drink this about once a day and love it. It tastes good and the doctor says that it gives the nutrients straight to the babies.
