Carter was denied the shots because my insurance company says they have to be under 3 months old (not 6) as of November 1st...he'll be 3 months 2 weeks. I really think they just make up excuses and I will be appealing this on Monday!
We got the same response and got our appeal denied as well. She meets all the criteria (daycare, born between 32-36 weeks) but we do NOT have an older, school-aged sibling at home. As if some of the kids at daycare don't have older, school-aged siblings or aren't school-aged themselves!!
So frustrating. I haven't found a way around it yet.
If I remember correctly it's under 6 months for 28-32 weekers, under 1 year for <28 weekers and I'm not sure for 32+ though I'm pretty sure they aren't giving shots to 35+w.

Thanks!
We have friends with triplets and one didn't qualify, so there must be other stipulations too...?
