KR wants to get a hair cut, she is asking for it. I say it is just hair let her get it cut. Daddy wants to keep it long, in fact he says it is not long enough. He is not the one that has to fight with her to wash it etc. I think that as long as she does not want to die it purple she should be able to say she wants it cut. Granted mom will have some say so in how short, style etc. but it is just hair and it will grow back out.

I think what the hell are you asking us for?  It's between you and your DH.  It's not like running to your DH saying the girls on the bump said I should cut KR hair so there.  Pffft.

Cutting DD's hair was the best thing I've done as far as maintenance.  We cut about 5 inches off and it is so much easier to deal with and it is still pretty long.

Maybe just cut a couple of inches off to start.

I honestly do not understand why men get so wrapped up in the length of their wife's or daughter's hair, that being said my dh loves it when my hair is long (just think it is weird). I would just explain to your dh that it is more manageable at a shorter length and that you won't cut it too short.

I think she is old enough to decide.  I'm with you though, it's just hair and not like she is asking for a buzz.

No I just think it is weird that guys get so wrapped up into length of hair. Sorry if it came off snarky it is just has always been an observation of mine.

I'm just in a pissy mood.  But if you take her and cut some off, which in my opinion is fine, how will your DH react?  I mean he needs to grow up-its hair.
