First night away from DD

DH and I are going out with friends to a theme park tonight for a Halloween thing.  DD is staying with my parents.  I'm not nervous about them watching her but I am nervous about being away from her for the first time.  She is very cranky today as well to make things worse.  She didn't sleep well last night and I think she's overtired but can't seem to appease her so she'll go to sleep.  It will be nice to get a full night's sleep tonight though I feel selfish for wanting it!

Don't feel selfish...it will be better for your DD when you get some extra rest. Every new mommy needs a night out!
