Shoes and Jacket?

So my kid has big feet and we've out grown all the cute crib shoes we were given!  He's wearing 9 month socks so I'm thinking he's a size one, is that right?

I'm also wondering where to find a plain lightweight jacket for him.  I got him one lined with fleece but it's not going to be cold enough for that for a while.  I've searched high and low for just a plain jacket that will go with most anything for him and come up empty handed so far!  Any suggestions?

Re: Shoes and Jacket?

  • Hmmm, for shoes id prob go with a 2. I know they will be big but get something with velcro you can make tight. He isnt walking yet so it wont matter. Plus you can keep them through the winter.

As for a jacket....keep a look out. I know I picked up a small hoodie at ON when AT was that age, he will prob only need it in the mornings. And the hoodie will be good for his head too. GL!

  • I have no idea about the shoes.  Eli is still wearing size 6-12 m socks and wears a size 6 shoe, so I don't know how socks are really sized.  He has always had really small feet until recently, he was in a size 3 until about 16 months.

I have also gotten Eli's jackets from ON.  I never put a heavy coat on him, we just use light fleece jackets.  That's all we used last year since he wasn't old enough to be playing outside in the cold.  This year he'll probably need something heavier, but ON is probably where we'll get it from.

  • Thanks, I never think of ON because well, we have none of that here!  But I could stand for a little online shopping this afternoon!  Wink
