Weaning

Ok, so we started weaning off BF this week. It's going ok, DD takes a bottle fine & tolerates the formula, even enjoys it I think. My problem is that even after she's full from her bottle, she still wants to nurse & can't fall asleep without nursing. Even if someone else gives her the bottle & is able to get her to sleep, the minute she hears me, she wants it. So far I have been giving into her because she's basically inconsolable. Just wondering if anyone else out there has any experience with this & if I am doing the right thing by allowing her to nurse, she doesn't even eat a whole lot, I'm sure it's just a comfort/ security thing I mean it's all she's known. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

Sorry I rambled a bit, I'm just worried that I'm doing the wrong thing. I'm also going to call the pedi in the morning & see what she recommends I do.
