First appt Results, Myths on heartrates?

in 1st Trimester
Got to see the baby we are 9 wks 1 days with a EDD of May 5 2010. So we are having a Cinco De Mayo Baby, which is funny because my birthday is St. Patrick's Day.  The baby was 2.46 cm, 175 bpm. I heard the heartbeat for the first time it was amazing!!!! Any myths on heartrates? I am not sure how to post the picture so I will try..........1stUSGpic

    Well the myth is 150+ = girl but DS always had a very high heart rate from 6 weeks on so I never believed the OWT.  Some research shows that a high heart rate is linked to metabolism, not gender.

    my best friend's baby's heart rate was 161 and she just gave birth to a boy

    My girls were low until my inductions.  If we went by HR, we were thinking boys.....
