Fibroids anyone?

I went in yesterday for a second ultrasound and my first official OB appointment only to be told by the US tech that I had fibroids.  They are evidently very small and my doc said not to worry about them but I just wanted to see what others are experiencing.

I have the same thing, and my doctor said they are so small and behind my uterus, I have nothing to worry about. There are extreme cases where they get bigger and grow and hurt, but for the most part are not dangerous, they are just benign tumors (fatty tissue)

I was told the same thing at my appoitment. He thinks it may have developed because of the hormones from the pregnancy

I have a large one at the top center of my uterus, they actually said it would make implanting difficult, but guess not! Said b/c of where it's located etc. as the baby grows I may have some additional discomfort but most of the times it's no big deal. I've had that fibroid for at least a year when I had a few u/s and a lap for endometriosis and it caused no problems
