1 month olds...

How much does your 1 month old sleep? Mine still sleeps ALOT.

DS slept a ton at 1 month. still does. He's only up for an hour or so before he gets fussy and tired. I swaddle him, rock him for two minutes and he passes out for at least an hour, then he's up for 30 min., eats and is back out again.

um, I wish! My 1 mo old doesnt sleep a lot during the day...a few 30 min naps. At night he is down for 2-3 and then up for 1-1.5 hrs at a time.

Mine could sleep more.  He's up every 2 hours overnight to eat for a half hour, then he'll go back to bed.  He's wide awake from 8 a.m. to at least 1 p.m.  Then he'll take a nap in the afternoon.  Evening is hit or miss, he will either sleep all evening or he's wide awake....I would give anything for him to go 3 hours between feedings overnight.

 This is my LO....some days are better than others but she just doesnt sleep much. Plus it takes sooo long to get her good and asleep- then shes ready to eat again.

Lily will sleep 4 hour stretches when we co-sleep and 1.5 hr in the bassinett- needless to say we mostly co-sleep. During the day she will wake up, eat, stay awake 30 minutes and sleep for 30 min -2 hours. Usually at night she will stay awake for a 3 hour stretch and then scream because she is so tired-This is when we go to bed.
