Halloween Costume

What are you doing for a costume and have you gotten it yet? 

and what kind of plans are you making as far as Halloween goes for LO?

    dh is he11bent on dressing ds as yoda. i think that would be a better costume for when he is walking but i pick my battles.

    My DH wanted the same thing!! We settled on Gizmo instead...I put my foot down on yoda.

    L is going to be a chicken! I also havea  little one peice halloween outfit from BRU that he will mostly wear after we get some pics in the costume.

    We are going to get Halloween pics doen at Sears and they will be ready by Halloween. We are going to brign him "trick or treating" to both sets of grandparents early in the afternoon so they can see him in his costume & we will give them their photos then. Our neighbours across the street are hacign a family friendly party that we will go to at night.

    I want to sew/make DD's costume & I was having a really hard time deciding what she should be, DH mentioned her being a Gloworm since she's got one of the toy ones & it's probably her absolute favorite toy. I figured it'd be a simple/easy costume to make & fitting since it's her favorite toy :o) ...but I want to add a tu-tu to the costume just because I've been dying to make one because I've been wanting to learn, so that was a compromise we made since we've cut back on spending a bunch (which in turn has cut into my crafting/hobby budget).

    As far as plans go- we'll probably have a friend take a few pictures of her & visit my friends family (who's son is 5 months older than DD) & get pics of our LO's together. Then take our DD to visit my dad & his brother (& my uncle's wife)... & of course get pics of her with the family :o)

    DD is going to be a ladybug...we are going to see my mom & ILs as well as trick or treaing - in their neighborhood with my lil niece.
