DS almost got bitten by a snake

We were walking through a field at the state park near our house, and DS almost stepped on a snake!  When I saw it, I picked him up and threw him sideways.  The thing struck right under his feet!

When I went back to look at it, it was just a garter snake, but it freaks me out anyway!

Scary! Snakes freak me out, even when they are just garter snakes.

Oh my gosh... Thank goodness you got him out of the way!  I would have been terrified.
