I have never napped at work. Although we do have a large carpeted closet that has some of our marketing material in it & my coworker has the only key. I've seriously considered taking the key & getting comfy on the floor in there for 30 minutes or so.
I teach kindergarten and there is no time to nap...
I envy anyone that actually has time in there day for this?!
Yeah I don't have the time either, but I'd be willing to stay 20 mins later if I could lie down for 20 mins in the middle of the day. I'm not talking tired here, I'm talking exhausted-down-to-my-bones. It's better than going home.
I'd be ok with the car except I'd worry people would think I was a drunk. lol
At my work we have a Mother's Lactation Center for te new moms to pump. But now I'm really thinking we need a pregnant womens lounge with cots. I would kill to take a nap, but it's cold today, so It would be very chilly to go to my car and nap, until the heater kicked in.
I use to see people at work sleeping in their car and I use to think it was silly.. now that I'm so tired all the time... I wish I could join them! It's too cold to do it now that Fall/Winter is coming though unless I want to turn on the car.. and that I feel weird about!
I have a cube and am guilty of doing this once or twice. Take any book or paper that's work related. Put it on your desk, put both your elbows on the desk next to the paper with your hands supporting your head. If you have long hair, use that to cover the sides of your face and nap away
Anyone comes by and calls you, you can just look up and pretend like you were so engrossed in that book/paper.
I have a private office with blinds and a door that locks. I love my afternoon naps! :-) One time I wasn't feeling well and my boss told me "Hey, you get two 15 minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch hours, do with them what you please, who am I to judge?" So some days I'll take a half hour nap around 230 and don't feel even slightly bad about it.

Sometimes I go to my car and close my eyes if I need to get away for a few minutes to relax! It seems to help!
Nap?!
Are you kidding?

I don't nap at work but am very tempted to lay on the bathroom floor...gross i know but...still tempting!!
we need signs for our car sleepers haha
I'M NOT HOMELESS, I'M PREGNANT!

Same here! I have a private office with blinds and everything. But if I was found napping, I would definitely be let go!

Hope that helps!
Ditto.
Try going for a walk outside and getting some fresh air, eating, and drinking some extra water.
