I think that she just buys girls tights though. I can't imagine they are any different, and they come in all sorts of neutral colors.
I think that's a great idea for winter! I used to wear pantyhose under my jeans all of the time. It would probably be really comfy for DS to wear these under his pants so he can play outside!
I guess I'll keep looking. There are some black and navy tight on Hanna Anderson we might try, or the thermal underwear - didn't think of that.
I'm from a pretty cold part of Russia (think -15C half of winter) where all little kids wore tights under the clothing. So the concept of boys is tights doesn't strike me as strange but for DS's sake I guess I should keep tights off him after the age of 2 or so ;D

Walmart has Gerber brand toddler sized thermals. I think they are $6ish for a set. Some solid colors and some cute patterns. I like to get them for jammies and to layer in the winter when we go to cold places. I use the long sleeved tops to put under tshirts, makes for less winter clothes to buy

Nice blog, thanks! Although I guess I'm not "man" enough to put DS in turquoise tights but I'm sure I'll find him a pair of dark ones.

I buy the three pack of black, white and red ones at Walmart.
I'd dearly love someone to make warm tights for boys with decorative bottoms like they do for girls. Like the ones that have ballet slippers or Mary Janes on the foot, but they could have cowboy boots or football cleats or something.

Re: Where to buy boy tights
I'd go this route too. ON also has lined pants.
haha...I was just reading this blog the other day. Her son loves his tights!

For us, it's not about his legs being warm. It's about him not leaving his socks on. So I put tights over his socks.
oh god, that would be so cute!
Not sure what you're talking about exactly... can you do long johns?
eta: and tights under pants sound really uncomfortable to me. DS would sweat like a pig in that! He needs to "breathe!"
