Re: Coolest Names That Aren't Really Names (LIP)
Um, Wren is a name. It is my middle name and was my great-grandfather's middle name so that is not really "trendy".
The others deserve a major side-eye. I do like Haven though.
I emailed this to a pregnant friend of mine and she responded that Quintessence Chev__ and Afternoon Mc___ are BFFs totally our college Class of 2031.
LMAO!
the list wasn't really about trendy names. just words that had been turned into names. i know a wren, but it is technically the name of a bird. it's been a person name for a long time, but it's still a word turned name.
I see what you are saying. I guess I am just surprised that an "old" name is on the list. To me these names are trendy (and horrible, lol).
As a musician, the name Cadence has always bugged. A cadence is the "end" (of a piece or a musical phrase). I don't want to think of my kid like that. And I have two musician friends who named their daughters this! I have always liked Tuesday...
Some of those are neat.
I know a Cricket.
