One of my BFFs and her DH are moving cross-country this week and they were planning to stop and stay with us tonight.  Well, Hadley woke up with a cold and now they probably won't be able to see us because we live in a germ factory.  Her DH has been very sick and just got out of the hospital last week and the meds that he is on suppress his immune system so they have to hyper-vigilant about keeping him from getting sick.  I am just so sad that I'm not going to get to see them.  I recognize how whiny this is given the load they are carrying right now but I miss her so much and am being selfishly sad for at least a few minutes.

Could your meet them somewhere even if you had to wear a facemask or something...

Is there any way you can meet up with them without your daughter? Even if it's only an hour or two after she goes to bed, at least it's something.

Maybe, I just filled her in on the situation and they are going to talk about it and try to figure out what is best for them.

You are all so smart...I didn't even think of doing anything else---I just turned into a crying mess in my office.  I hope it works out that I can see them at least.
