Why do people post this stuff! (ventish)

I'm sorry but I hate it when people post in the subject of their post things like "my friends baby had no HB at 16 weeks!" or, "random woman died of swine flu at 20 weeks". 

It causes me to have these freak out moments and I try to avoid reading stuff like that. I mean, I can totally understand if you are the one going through a rough time and need support (T&P in that case!), but why post about some random news story or about your friends friend?  We all know terrible things happen in pregnancy!  Might as well just go over to the T-TTC board and post a subject for "25% of couple get pregnant after 1 month!"    Am I the only one bothered by this?

Doesn't bother me. If I don't want to read something I don't open the post.

While I feel for those people who those things happened to, I really don't like the posts.  Also makes me have freak out moments.
