Need advice...vapors and sick baby

Long story short, my husband cleaned out a couple of paint brushes last night with paint thinner in the kitchen and threw away the rags (smart).  When we woke up this morning the house reaked!  I opened the windows all day and we were gone until about 5pm but it still hit me like a ton of bricks when I walked in.  Now my head is spinning and I feel a bit ill.  My dd just threw up (possibly spit up but she is 15 months and hasn't done that in months!).  I didn't see it happen but it was all over her dress.  I am not sure if maybe the fumes made her sick or if she just spit up randomly.  She is asleep now.  Should I just open up her windows & turn on the fans?   My dh is gone on business so I am not sure if I might just feel bad or if it is the fumes..... Any advice?

I would say if your head is spinning it is affecting her even more... is there anywhere else you can go tonight?

I am calling now to see who I can stay with.  I just don't like the thought of being here!

I think that's a good call. sorry you have to deal with all that while DH is gone. (
