NPR anniversary next week

I'm about 90% sure my husband bought me diamond earrings for our anniversary but how in the heck can I compete with that?! He always buys me really exp. gifts bc I NEVER do anything for myself. What did some of you gals do for your first anniversary gift to DH?

    You are giving him a baby, right :)

    I am thinking of getting my DH a guitar for our first anniversary. We only have this old acoustic and I would like to get him a newer one.

    Since we both work retail and never tend to see each other, we bought partical season tickets to our local MLB team.  We have been spending time all summer together.  Plus, it was paper for anniversary #1, we decided to do that fun thing....

    I think growing another human being is gift enough! ?

    My husband and I don't do gifts....we usually go on vacation for our anniversary and usually don't do b-day or Xmas gifts either because we're usually spending money remodeling the apartment or on our son, so we just call it even.

    I did, however, get a gorgeous new mommy ring with my son's birthstone!?

    The tickets sound awesome! But the closest college or pro team is 2 hrs away so not very practical.

    Mind you the hubby just got a new hand gun, a new 54 inch flat screen, and surround screen so maybe he owes me haha
