Baby was born on Sunday night and we were discharged Wednesday morning, so about 3 days. Insurance would have paid for one more day but we were itching to get home. In retrospect, I wish I had stayed the extra day and taken advantage of the help.
i had him on wednesday and was home by saturday. I was supposed to stay till sunday but my ob said I was doing great & would be better off at home instead of at the hospital. I had a quick & easy recovery, thank God.
I had him on Tuesday evening and I was discharged on Friday afternoon. My MD was willing to send me home on Thursday, but I asked to stay another day so I could recover a little more.
Thanks I had a c/s with #1 but He was early so they kept me the most days they could....I am going to have another one in March so I was just trying to figure everything out...Thank you Ladies...Take lots of pics the first year goes by way to fast...

I started induction Sunday evening, had him at 4pm Monday afternoon and was able to stay until Friday but opted to leave Thursday evening. Now looking back, I would have probably stayed the extra night to get some rest and be taken care of!
I had DD on Wed afternoon and they released me Sunday morning. I did have the option of leaving Saturday. However, DD was in the NICU and I opted to stay another day in hopes that she would be released with me. It didn't happen, but at least I got another day with her without commuting.
32 hours...but my recovery was a walk in the park. I was up and walking 6 hours after my c-section. If you make yourself "look" better they will be more willing to let you go home sooner. Its worked like a charm with both of my csections. As soon as you can walk, go take a shower, do your hair and makeup and put your jeans on. You will look "well" and the dr. will let you go sooner. And also just ask!!! I asked "hey can i go today" he said "sure you want to" and 3 hours later I was out the door.
