benadryl allergy & cold medicine

is this OK to take when nursing?  the box says it contains acetaminophen, diphenhydramine HCI and phenylephrine HCI.  i can call the dr tomorrow AM, but was hoping to take some tonight.  thanks

No because it might dry up your milk, although it will not harm baby. Its a B drug which should be ok used once in a while. My lactation consultant said the only thing that is 100% is Robotusin DM which is only for cough and chest congestion so I dont know if that will help your symptoms.
