Anything cooked. California rolls are fine with no fish eggs. If you look on the menu you will find alot more sushi rolls that are made with cooked ingredients than you think.
Its the only thing that has gotten me this far.

Google "Sushi pregnant women NY Times" there was a very interesting and enlightening article about this a few years ago.
Basically the biggest issue w/ sushi is the mercury in fish, some fish have more.
All fish served as sushi in the US is flash frozen to kill off parasites that could cause a food born illness. Chicken that isn't properly cooked or handled is more likely to make you sick than good sushi.
Pregnant women in Japan eat sushi throughout their pregnancy as it's a staple of their diet.
I am very cautious with what I eat but I did have a lot of sushi last weekend... it really hit the spot. I didn't have my normal though due to the mercury issue and I am leery about uncooked fish but it did hit the spot!! I had some California rolls, shrimp tempura and some cooked shrimp & scallop (they are very low in mercury) rolls. Enjoy
I moved to Korea and I asked my OB if it was okay to eat sushi, some raw fish, etc. Sometimes i never really now what I am ordering so I was nervous it may have these types of fish in stuff. She told me it was fine. Obviously, I will eat it in moderation, but she informed be Koreans are healthier than Americans and pregnant women have been eating raw fish for years and they have healthy babies. I would eat some, just don't over do it week after week. You'll be fine!

yep, I can vouch for that (but my students said that they limit it because of the mercury)

You guys made me feel much, much better! I'll be enjoying tonight.
Cooked crab is ok, right?
if you're worried, get unagi (bbq eel, seriously good even though it sounds hideous).
- Swordfish
- Mackerel
- Shark
- Tilefish
and any raw shellfish.I feel like as long as you just eat in moderation you'll be fine!
I don't think I could go 9 months w/o sushi!!!
I mentioned that I was pregnant to the sushi chef and he had lots of great suggestions of what I could have. If all else fails, do that!
And about the mercury, unless you're eating those fish every day and consuming mass quantities, it really shouldn't be a problem.
