Put her right on up there with the escaped slave...In a way, though, isn't it kind of interesting, that they bring attention to the plight of the homeless for spoiled little girls whose parents have enough money to waste $100 on a doll? I don't know if this is the right way to go about it, but who knows, it may awaken some dormant philanthropy in the heart of some wealthy little girl. What exactly is the rub, here, the price? The homeless thing? Do any of the proceeds help the homeless (if not, that's really kind of wrong). I'm sure they'll snatch it from the shelves soon and make it a million dollar collectible, LOL.
If parents want their children to understand the plight of the homeless they should just drive them down Lower Wacker on the way to the American Girl Store.

There are no proceeds going to homeless shelters for the doll. I just think it's in poor taste to have that. But I understand what you're saying.

OMG....that's perfect...especially on those really cold insanely windy days in Feb!

I agree it's in poor taste then...and yes...she's the black one.
