WTF - 2 periods within 12 days of eachother!

So I should have started on Sept 8th but didn't get my period until Sept 16th. It was only 2 1/2 days, the first day was very light, second day heavy, 3rd day light for half the day and that was it. Now I started again on Sept 28th and it was bright red, still bled yesterday and again today and passing clots both days. What the heck is going on?!!

BTW...I did take an hpt on Sept 14th and it was negative.

Similar thing happened to me this month, but I just had my IUD removed so I chalked it up to that.  Have you gone off BCP or anything recently?  I swear, things just don't work the same as they used to since I had kids and worked my way up in my 30's.

I could have written this post almost word for word.

I had an ovarian cyst this month too. I think the first time I bled it was irritation from the cyst and the second time was truly my period. Did you have any pain with the first bleeding?

Hope you have a better month next month.

Nope, haven't changed anything...no bcp or iud. I had bad cramps both times just like I normally do. It seems like lately every month I am a day later than the previous month but this time it was 8 days. I have never been that late before. I wasn't sure if it was something I should call my doctor about or if I should just wait and see what next month is like. Hopefully next month is better.
