weird ms need advice (TMI)

 i have been natious but not puking for weeks now on monday night i puked for an hour straight and scared myself to death because i had cherry koolaid earlier in the day so it was bright red sorry tmi. i have puked once or twice since then nothing bad or lasting more than a min or two. so normal m/s. well i just got up and puked all of my breakfast back up and there was bits of bright red in it like blood... now i know you shouldnt puke blood my problem is that i dont have insurance and am currently waiting to get medicaid... i think i should go to the er because our drs office isnt open yet but i do not have money and do not have a way there... what should i do should i wait and see if it happens again? or go to the er now?

if it is definitely blood then yes go to the er immediately.

either way you wont have to pay now for the er and as long as you make payments to them even if it's $10/month they can't do anything. I would go to the ER or find a medi-merge place if  you have those by you.

do you have sinus problems or post nasal drip?  If you have a cold or sinus problems generally thats where these little spots of blood come from, because your nose is irritated from the acidity of mucus.   What did you eat for dinner last night?  Remember food can stay in your stomach for a VERY long time.

for breakfast i had ramen noodles and there was nothing red in them all i have been able to eat and not feel like crap is mac and cheese crackers and ramen noodles none of which have red in them so im worried.

possibly a slight fever but we dont own a thermometer we just moved out on our own... im trying to get my dh home and to take me to the er.

If your only throwing up bits of blood its just from irratating the lining of your stomach. The ER will do nothing for you except phenergan and fluids. IT doesnt mean anything is wrong, just that you have thrown up alot. Trust me, its happened to me twice...I wasted almost $4000 in the ER and there is nothing they can really do.

You should only worry if you are throwing up alot of blood, bright or otherwise. But bits or small streaks is just irritation.
