Got a cold...

in 1st Trimester
I've got a cold despite how careful I have been. I have a list of OTC meds that are ok to take according to my OB office, but I am still leary of medicating. It scares me to medicate the baby as well. Valid fear or not? What are your thoughts ladies?

    I know how you feel, I just got my BFP yesterday and I've already come down with a cold. I took some acetemeniphen (sp?), which I'm pretty sure is ok, but it took a day full of misery before I finally would do it.

    I have had a cold for over a week now.  I tried not to medicate, but I just can't sleep w/o Robitussin.  And the little sleep I am getting is bad b/c I wake up to coughing attacks.  I do not see an end in sight to this cold, and I am going to lose my mind.  Getting ready for my OB appt.  Hope she can suggest something to work.
